Get to Know Kelsi Harris

Kelsi grew up in Fort Collins, graduating from Poudre High School before attending UNC. She worked in special education as a teacher and IEP specialist for the past decade. Kelsi has described her thoughts as a running Instagram caption in her head, writing has always been a passion for her from poems, short stories, and many many Instagram captions. She is excited to continue this as the written voice of This is NOCO bringing you articles covering events, businesses, and more all from Northern Colorado. Whenever you message us on Instagram, you are chatting with Kelsi so come on over and say Hello.

This is NOCO is a celebration of Northern Colorado’s life, stories, and culture—all brought together in one place. This is the region we've called home for most of our lives. It’s where we grew up, where we fell in love, and where we’re now raising our family.
Simply put: we’re from NOCO, and we’re for NOCO.
Meet Our Founders
We’re Kelsi and Ben Harris, the husband-and-wife duo behind This Is NOCO. You might know us from our earlier project, NOCO Date Nights, or maybe you remember us from high school—Kelsi in Fort Collins and Ben in Greeley. Our local roots run deep, and our love for this community runs even deeper.
Get to Know Benjamin Harris
Filmmaker • Creative Director • Storyteller Through the Lens
Ben grew up in Greeley before heading to Denver to attend art school for film. He’s spent years in the film industry, working with and running production companies—most recently founding Hype and the Heart, known for producing high-end video content for TV and the web. At This Is NOCO, Ben brings this same level of creative direction and quality production, capturing the essence of Northern Colorado through engaging, cinematic storytelling.
