Public Opening Reception - Friday, July 31, 5 - 7 pm
About the Exhibit:
On July 31, 1976, a catastrophic flood claimed 144 lives in the Big Thompson Canyon between Loveland and Estes Park. Still considered one of the deadliest natural disasters in Colorado history, the tragedy affected thousands of residents and families across the region. This 50th anniversary retrospective explores the canyon’s history through photography, maps, recovered objects, and oral histories.
Beyond the destruction, the exhibit highlights how local organizations and neighbors united in the recovery efforts. Join us to honor those lost and reflect on the community resilience that followed this significant event

About The Dream Thieves: The Graphic Novel:
The second book in Maggie Stiefvater's #1 NYT bestselling series The Raven Cycle, now gorgeously illustrated as a graphic novel!
Ronan Lynch is made of secrets. His longest kept one? He can pull impossible things out of dreams. It's a secret that's nearly killed him more than once.
Waking the ley line should have led Blue and the Raven Boys straight to Glendower, the Welsh king rumored to be sleeping beneath the mountains of Henrietta.
But instead, the forest of Cabeswater has disappeared, energy hums and sputters beneath the town, and the Raven Boys' search is at a dead end. Ronan's dreams may be the key to finding Glendower, but none of the Raven Boys are prepared for what will be unleashed in Ronan's desperate attempt to finally control his power.
Reimagined as a stunning full-color graphic novel adapted and illustrated by Sas Milledge, Dream Thieves blurs the line between reality and nightmare until they are one and the same.
About Maggie Steifvater:
Maggie Stiefvater is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of novels for young people and adults, including the #1 New York Times bestselling series The Wolves of Mercy Falls, starting with Shiver, and The Raven Cycle, starting with The Raven Boys. Her novel The Scorpio Races was named a Michael L. Printz Honor Book by the American Library Association. She lives in Virginia with her husband, their two children, many dogs, some bagpipes, and a growling tuner car. You can visit her online at maggiestiefvater.com

Hey Birdie and Singles Socials
8/5/26, 12:00 AM
144 S Mason St, Fort Collins, CO 80524, USA
Gathering the women of Singles Socials for an evening that moves beyond matchmaking and into curiosity, and authentic relating exercises.
An evening for the women of Singles Socials, beyond the search for a match
“Connection is why we're here; it is what gives purpose and meaning to our lives.” — Brené Brown
Singles Socials is more than a way to meet someone—it's a community of women putting themselves out there, again and again, in search of something real. But between the apps, the small talk, and the pressure to make a good first impression, it's easy for that search to stay surface-level. Walking into a room of strangers and finding something to say beyond "what do you do" doesn't come naturally—even when connection is exactly what you're craving.
This August, we're slowing down to build something deeper.
In partnership with Hey Birdie—a women-led organization founded by Jess Lindsley and Heather Bahlmann—we're gathering the women of Singles Socials for an evening that moves beyond matchmaking and into curiosity. Through guided small-group and paired authentic relating exercises, every part of the evening is structured and facilitated, so you're never left wondering what to say or who to talk to—we'll explore what you're craving in connection, what you're curious about in yourself, and how to show up in community with people you might not have sought out on your own.
Join us Tuesday, August 4th from 6:00–7:30 PM at The Neighbor for this chance to practice connection—not just in the search for a match, but in how you show up for yourself and the women around you.
Space is limited, and we ask that you treat your registration as a commitment—not just to attend, but to co-create the depth of connection this gathering invites. If something changes, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance so we can offer your spot to another woman.
About Hey Birdie: Jess and Heather are the bold, tenacious co-founders of Hey Birdie—a community-rooted organization guiding women through transformative experiences grounded in connection, compassion, and curiosity. With a combined 40 years of experience in leadership, coaching, and personal growth, they design innovative programs that challenge cultural norms—reimagining traditional celebrations like Mother's Day and Valentine's Day into more meaningful, empowering experiences. Through Flight Clubs, Rites of Passage ceremonies, and thoughtfully curated gatherings, they've created powerful spaces where women rise together in authentic, lasting support.

What happens when artists invite the community to help create the art?
Last year during Fort Collins' First Friday Art Walks, local artists handed over the brush.
What began as live painting demonstrations evolved into three collaborative paintings shaped by dozens of community members over the course of several months. Those shared canvases—and the conversations that formed around them—inspired Tapestry.
Join us for an evening of:
Local artists & community art
Live music
Therapy animals
Community organizations
A handmade tapestry by Henry Haynes

Participating artists retain 100% of their sales, while event fundraising activities will support the Alliance for Suicide Prevention of Larimer County and its work throughout our community.
FREE and open to the public.

Don Was is a musical titan whose influence spans nearly 100 million album sales as a producer for icons like The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and Willie Nelson. A six-time GRAMMY® winner and the current President of the legendary Blue Note Records, Was has spent the last seven years as the backbone of Bob Weir and Wolf Bros. This tour is a homecoming of sorts, as he leads The Pan Detroit Ensemble—a powerhouse group of Motor City elite—to bridge the gap between cosmic rock and gritty Detroit soul.
Experience a vibrant mix of original compositions alongside a deep-dive tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Grateful Dead’s "Blues for Allah." Celebrated for its adventurous fusion of jazz, rock and Eastern scales, the 1975 masterpiece serves as the perfect canvas for the Ensemble's improvisational prowess. By pairing their own contemporary material with a full exploration of this timeless classic, Don Was and his ensemble bridge the gap between the Grateful Dead’s cosmic vision and the heartbeat of the Motor City.
