It is almost here, one of my favorite times of the year: spooky season. Yes, I mean spooky season is my favorite, not necessarily fall. While I love the changing of the leaves and the feeling of a crisp fall morning, there is something about the specifically spooky events and fun that makes me excited. I typically think of October as the height of spooky season, but when researching events this month, I found that many of our favorites actually kick off in September.

Whether this is the first year you are celebrating Juneteenth, you have never heard of it before, or it is your favorite day of the year, and you have been looking forward to it. Juneteenth is a day for celebrating freedom, belonging, and a day for everyone. This year is no different, and the celebrations in Northern Colorado continue to grow.
