Noco Date Nights is now This Is NOCO, but what does that actually mean for you, the people of Northern Colorado?
The short answer is that nothing is going away, but we are adding even more of NOCO for you to enjoy. We want to create a more holistic view of our community and engage with all of NOCO, not just those of us going on dates. While our weekly happenings and recommendations have always been things anyone could enjoy, sometimes the name Noco Date Nights made both our audience and us feel stuck in one aspect of our community when there is so much more to offer. We never want anyone to feel like they are not a part of our community if date nights are not in their life right now. We also want the opportunity to connect with a larger portion of the community businesses, creatives, and events that are not targeted just for date nights. The best answer I can give is we want to be engrained in all of NOCO.
We took over NOCO Date Nights last year because we saw the value in this space. We truly believe that NOCO is one of the best communities out there, but to be honest, we never wanted to live in the “influencer” space. What we do want is to influence our community to engage in local spaces, support each other, back local businesses, and find people to connect with here in NOCO. Transitioning to a Digital Hub allows us to tell you about all things Northern Colorado.
This Is NOCO will continue to bring you social media content each week, including our Weekly Happenings schedules, recommendations for events, businesses to support, and more. The Weekly Happenings will continue to be a mix of different events and ideas straight from our brains to keep a varied list each week.
We’ve also launched ThisIsNOCO.com, our Digital Lifestyle Hub hosting articles, videos, NOCO merch, and more to come. Lastly, we will be hosting more in-person events to truly connect the people of NOCO to those around them. When you are trying to answer the age old question of "What to do in NOCO?" head to ThisisNOCO.com!
We love what we do, and we love connecting with our community. Candidly, this is what we want to do full-time to support our family. Currently, Kelsi and Ben both work for other companies, which takes away from the time we can dedicate to NOCO. We want to be able to give you more and provide more benefit for Northern Colorado, but to do that, we need your support. We believe this move to a full-coverage media company will eventually allow us to make that jump.
Now, how can you support us?
