11th Annual Tennyson Fall Fest Returns to Close Out Denver’s Outdoor Festival Season
Denver’s outdoor festival season ends with one of the most beloved street fairs: the 11th Annual Tennyson Fall Fest. The festival will take place Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., a sister event to the highly popular summer Tennyson Street Fair. This free community celebration, which welcomed 20,000 people last year, brings together more than 150 local businesses, breweries, artisans and food purveyors that will line Tennyson Street from West 39th to 43rd Ave. Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy activities such as live music, group yoga, a pet parade and other family-friendly fun – all of which are free.
This cherished community celebration will include the following lineup of activities for visitors of all ages:
The Ninth Annual Pet Parade, presented by Denver Nook. Four-legged friends and their owners are invited to strut their stuff starting at 44th Ave. and down Tennyson Street, ending at 41st and Tennyson Park, from 10-11 a.m. Trophies will be awarded for first and second place for individual and group, oldest pet, best in show, and judge’s honorable mention. The parade raises money for Colorado Pet Pantry and its mission of feeding at-risk pets to keep them at home and out of shelters.
Shop local with a farmers’ market-style artisan showcase featuring more than 150 talented vendors selling handcrafted art, jewelry, candles, skincare, baked goods, spices and more
Enjoy live music from local musicians spanning multiple genres, with Swift Current at 11:30 a.m., The Midnight Soulbirds at 1:30 p.m. and AFB closing out the day at 4 p.m.
Bring your own mat and unwind with free outdoor group yoga led by Ohana Yoga + Barre from 1-2 p.m.
Warm up at the pop-up bars with hot cocktails, plus beer and other seasonal favorites
All profits raised by the event benefit Explore Tennyson, the Tennyson Berkeley Business Association (TBBA).
