CARLOS & THE CREW RELEASES HIGHLY ANTICIPATED DEBUT EP, “FOLLOW ME TO MY GARDEN”
Emerging Fort Collins-based alt-rock band, is thrilled to announce the release of their debut EP, Follow Me To My Garden, on August 14, 2026. Featuring five original tracks, including the lead singles “Follow Me To My Garden" and “Fantasy”, the EP explores themes of escape and connection through a unique and captivating blend of garage-rock, funk, reggae and folk influences.
Building on the momentum of releasing two singles, headlining Boulder Creek Fest and kicking off the first-ever, sold-out FoCoMX at Avogadro’s Number in Fort Collins, Follow Me To My Garden serves as a bold introduction to Carlos & The Crew’s unique sonic identity - self-proclaimed as “music for the movers and shakers”. Produced by Addison Phillips (“FANTASY” produced by The Spot Studios in Evergreen, CO), the EP delivers a fresh take on traditional rock music with a mix of the band member’s individual music influences.
"With this debut, we wanted to showcase raw, non-automated talent, and evoke some nostalgia to the music we grew up alongside” says Carlos & The Crew. The focus track, “Follow Me To My Garden" features playful, punchy percussion, an infectious, ear-worm keyboard riff, and tasteful transitions between rock, pop and reggae throughout”. The rest of the project dabbles in R&B, funk, ska, and more, with rock-solid vocals, groovy bass lines and more.
On August 13, the band hosted a "space-garden" themed album release show and party at Magic Rat at The Elizabeth in Fort Collins. The show drew an audience of more than 100, with support from band Honey Rae, local artist Dominique Montaño and plant distributor Plantiness. The show benefited Vindeket Foods and the Alliance for Suicide Prevention of Larimer County. The show was presented by 105.5 The Colorado Sound and Organic Alternatives.
