The Gardens on Spring Creek is bringing something new to Live at The Gardens this year. A first-of-its-kind family-friendly concert is taking place on July 18. The Okee Dokee Brothers are often described as the "Shel Silverstein of family music."

Their sound is the perfect combination of family music and adventure. I have been playing it for our two boys, and it's the kind of dancing music we can all get into together.

They played a show last year as part of the Lincoln Center's outdoor concert series, and it was so crowded that many people didn't get to experience it, or at least not to the full extent it deserved. This is your opportunity to do it right! Tickets for this concert are a flat $29, making it easy for everyone to join in on the fun. This concert is also special because children ages one and under get in free! (Grab those tickets at the Lincoln Center Box Office in person.)

You can make sure the whole family is fed with the food trucks of the night:

The Okee Dokee Brothers aren't the only ones taking the stage at Live at The Gardens this summer. The series offers a wide range of musical styles and keeps us jamming all season long. The concerts kick off this weekend, so don't miss out. Check out the full lineup for all six concerts below!
